  1. Of course I would find a bunch of thirsty dudes in the comment lmao. With that said, anyone who runs a serious business should at least have VPS hosting. I couldn't be happier with mine, sites load super quick.

  2. Hetzner gives you the cheapest VPS' with the cost of $2.93 (20TB bandwidth, 1 CPU, 2GB RAM, 20GB SSD), which is ridiculously cheap and they're not bad at all. I can run Gitea self-hosted service on it with great performance. This is the best option out there available for an average application. P.S. And definitely Linux and you want to do basically everything the same for VPS as for a dedicated server, the fact that it's isolated doesn't eliminate maintenance burden 🙂
