Javascript ES6 Cheatsheet – the best of JS ES6

After a year of coding ES6 full-time, my favorite uses, the best parts, and what you need to know about them.

Javascript ES6 comes with a TON of extremely useful new features – all of which you can use TODAY on bot browser and server side code using transpilers like babel or traceur. I highly recommend babel es6 transpilation as it just works well, and I can still easily read the transpiled code.

  1. Please stop using dummy examples like you have never build anything interesting in your life . .don't u have a car ? Don't you read interesting authors, don't you follow any NBA teams, don't you build any application from you can't get real life examples from….we use Javascript to build stuff its not an algebraic topoic course ! Fuck ! Thank you

    Please be ORIGINAL ! I believe you are unique right ? So avoid those stupid empty doe, foo, bar var strings that we don't even know if they are name, variable or objects properties as everybody use them for everything and nothing to illustrate everything….

    Nobody code with foo, bar, doe when building a social network or a dating website…

    If you're channel is far from being original at least talk about your passion in your example, make us discover the subtilites of what you love through your order to point out the real reasons and interests of what you teach

  2. ES6 looks like useless hipster garbage to me, just makes the code harder to read. Disgusting pandering to people who are too lazy to type a few extra keys. Utterly unnecessary.

  3. I'm new to ES6, and I don't understand the some.method({}) part, can somebody explain to me or give a reference about "method?", is it the same concept as method in object?

  4. Now poor javascript is constantly borrowing features from other language, but due to self-compatibility reasons, it have to introduce new wired syntax to achieve new features, which makes it even more ugly…

  5. Hi, Thank you for this tutorial. I would like to understand the code in this JavaScript file:

    What is the idea behind the curly braces "{}" inside the parameter. Can you please give some reference for such kind of functions to understand this?
    this.tracker = new AR.ImageTracker(this.targetCollectionResource, {
    onTargetsLoaded: this.worldLoaded

  6. {…, max = 25, … } throws an error. Is there a way to set a default value when passing object argument ? {…, max : 25, …} assigns the value
