  2. Dear Derek I want to make sure about my knowledge.I have this knowledge In this video which you talk about. Yes sure I can. Now can you tell me is this a summary of all of java language and I want to know that means can I start programming. May be you will surprise my stupid problem but I was a beginner for programming. Actually I want to know is this the nature of entire language?

  3. This video proven effective on me (beginner).
For past 5 weeks I was struggling on hair ends with my course work just to catch up on the basics.
This 30mins video cleared my mind.
    You are a great teacher.

  4. I'm sure this is great if you already know it and want it gibbered quickly at you. But if you already know it….! If you don't know it there's little point in having someone gibber it quickly at you

  5. Other than talking like a buzz saw, your method of teaching is better than most (though not perfect). Pretty much everywhere I've looked, the training vids spend ages going through all the language of Java in the expectation that you're going to soak it up and then start programming. It is far better (IMHO) to have a definite and perhaps more useful programme that the student can follow along with and learn each component of Java as it is used. A lot of what's being taught (by many trainers) is stuff that you'd go to a reference source for anyway (such as data types), so why go to great lengths to explain them while the student nods off to sleep..
