  1. For some reason maybe not waiting long enough but my number of cores only goes to 2 but says my server has been successfully started it does say like in your video I noticed get host name failed any advice thanks

  2. One tip: if you copy-paste the settings in DefaultGameUserSettings.ini into the GameUserSettings.ini and modify them there it should work and you don't have to mess with the defaults. There might be a lot of additional settings that are not in neither place that you might be interested in modifying (https://ark.gamepedia.com/Server_Configuration). Thanks for the instructions. I did this in Linux (to install in cloud VMs), but now want to try on my own [windows] computer. Hope it works. Thanks for providing the batch files.

  3. Do we have to purchase ark on two different steam accounts also? Or can I just create the server in one of my computers and then log into my other computer with the same account to play ?

  4. When I try to start, I get these two files missing, both X3DAudio1_7.dll and XAPOFX1_5.dll. I know DirectX is installed and so is Visual
